Calligraphy and hand-lettering is much more than a skill, it’s a passion of mine. I’ve made table assignment cards and placeholder name cards for professional studio photos of staged wedding events. I use various techniques from calligraphy pens to create traditional and copperplate styles.

From celebration cards to logos, I love to draw letters traditionally and digitally. It’s a method for me to express in various projects in unique ways to tell stories and personality. It’s a self expression for me to always keep exploring and learning through hand drawn letters. No one expresses it better than the quote from Herman Zaff, “The making of the letters in every form is for me the purest & the greatest pleasure.”

The challenge in this experimental typography, was to create a cohesive font based on a key ligature component and I chose the letter “S” to be mimic throughout each part of the alphabet. The typeface I created is called Diamond. Coming soon, on how to download.
